Intro day for new PhDs and Postdocs : Oct 8th, 2021 - Global Lounge (Grimstad and Kristiansand) and online on Zoom

Firstly, Welcome to UiA!. :)

Do you know about UiAdoc?  We are a body that is working to improve the research experience for all scholars in UiA. We strive to build a strong network of doctoral researchers and make a positive impact on their quality of life in the work environment. If you are keen to know more about us, this event is ideal for you.

Starting your PhD or Postdoc is a time when you get bombarded with information. We tried, from our own experiences, to prepare a small "starter kit" for the new PhDs and Postdocs, and we are happy to take you through it and create a space where we can all meet each other and exchange experiences.

You will also have an opportunity to meet new PhDs and Postdocs from different research areas and could lead to interesting collaborations.

The event is held both online and offline (Global Lounge) with some tea/coffee and snacks for physical attendees.
